A friend who spends his free time fishing has a policy about snakes:
"They'll kill you, all of them."

With that distrust in mind I leave the snakes alone and they leave me alone.

I don't have an issue with spiders and will leave them alone too - if they invade my space hitting them with a shovel makes a satisfying "pwang" sound too.

As long as we're on the critter topic, anyone have recommendations on where to purchase alligator and rattlesnake meat? I've got a hankering to smoke some and fry some.

 

I have tears in my eye or a piece of metal, whatever. These are some of the best prizes ever to be giving away here. So glad those needles will be gone, I’m tired of tripping on them and being stuck.

Lol Coral Snakes. Ran across one about 7 years ago out in the woods near Ocala. I did the quick "Reds touching black" poem I had learned as a kid, determined that red was, in fact, touching yellow, I backed off before I became a dead fellow!
I grew up in Copperhead and Rattlesnake country so I am fine with all snakes.
