It was not finished pumping when I took that picture. If you look closely, you will see that it fills both tanks in one charge. This is the legit big rig pump, designed so truckers can fill up both tanks at the same time without having to swipe their credit card twice. On another note, Shane has a corporate credit card, so it's his boss paying for this... :D:cool:

"Indoor/outdoor use" apparently does not mean you can attach the Christmas lights to a pickup truck that is being driven at speeds, generally above 45 MPH, in a torrential downpour. Most of my brand new light sets were destroyed, and for example, I drove through a flash flood and shorted the wreath lights one night...

DO NOT BUY A NEW VOLKSWAGEN!

Last year, my cousin's husband traded his 2016 Jeep Cherokee for a brand new 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan. The VW was great until just recently, and it only has like 12K miles on it. One day recently, my cousin's husband started the engine and my cousin noticed blue smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe. He immediately took it to the local Volkswagen dealer (Wilkes-Barre, PA) and they couldn't find anything wrong.

My cousin and her husband have two young daughters and are in the process of moving to Virginia Beach for her husband's new job. He drove it down to Virginia Beach and the oil warning light came on. He checked the oil and found that there was barely any on the dipstick. He bought oil at AutoZone, topped it off, and immediately went to a VW dealer in Virginia Beach. That dealer said that it is normal for Volkswagens to burn oil, but at 12,000 miles I say bullshit...

Needless to say, they are going to be selling it ASAP. They want to buy a used pickup truck (possibly a Tacoma) that's cheap enough for them to pay cash. My cousin has a 2021 Toyota Highlander XLE Hybrid with about 62K miles that hasn't had any problems whatsoever. Go figure.

Yikes, ain't that the biggest fib I've heard in some time. Even if it was normal, losing almost all the oil..cut the shit

Almost 202K miles on my Tacoma, and it most certainly burns oil, but even with a blown head gasket I wasn't losing it quick enough for the damn warning light to come on; I didn't even get a CEL during the head gasket fiasco!

You don't want to see the oil warning light on your truck.
It has nothing to do with the oil level. It comes on at low oil PRESSURE.

As for the VW. Even if your cousin is only doing 10k miles oil changes, being that low is still unacceptable.

Then what does my instrument cluster say when the oil is low? My mechanic addressed the oil pressure light issue when he replaced the oil pressure sensor; I have no idea what the interval on a 2023 VW is, but I'm assuming it's 10K miles and I can tell you that my cousin's husband is as OCD about routine maintenance as I am. The first car he bought with his own money was a 2003 Chevy Cavalier, it had over 130K miles on it when he traded it in for a 2011 Subaru, and it still ran great!

Jeez, my Mustang would burn about a quart every 200-300 miles..just had to make sure to check and add a quart weekly. I paid $100 for that car though.

Your Mustang that I'm guessing, at $100, was a used shitbox with high mileage...

It won't say anything. Well, not until the oil level is so low that the pickup tube can't suck up oil.
And then the oil light will come on. But that's BAD......really bad if it gets that low.

In High school I had an Oldsmobile that you didn't even bother to check the oil, you just dumped in a quart every time you got gas lol. Not fill up mind you, just got gas, like $5 in those days.
