Certain jobs the battery stuff is good. For example, I will never by a dino powered weed trimmer again. The ego one I have is just too easy and doesn't make my hands go numb. Now, for a chainsaw.... depends on use. To strap on a 4 wheeler to cut a bit of brush or branches off a trail it'd be good, but not for full blown tree cutting. That needs the gasser.

 

Funny... I just sold my craftsman battery powered weed eater in favor of gas. The electric was convenient for quick touch ups, but it didn't have the oomph for any real weeds/long stuff. It also took two batteries just to go around my house and road frontage. Obviously ymmv but I prefer good ol engine noise for yard work.

 

I really only need it to trim around the trailer and shed, and the battery swap isn't bad to me. I'll run the trimmer first, which if I've not let the yard go too long I can handle most of the job on one battery. When it dies I swap out and finish up, then get to the mowing while the dead battery charges. When I am done mowing I take the full battery out to do any touch ups. Even if I drain both batteries at the start I will have a full one by the time the mowing is done. I also hate yard work and don't care about making it look super pretty. I just want it done. LOL

Woke up and rolled over and gave Carol a hug.
My alarm went off on my phone.
I started laughing.
It reminded me of the virgin alarm in Spaceballs.
I can’t catch a break…

Morning fellas. I got my stocko Taco back yesterday. My wife had commandeered it after loaning her car to her mom for 2 weeks. Thing drives nice, but I have noticed the glass in the doors is loose and rattles around a lot. Makes it kinda feel like a piece of shit compared to how solid my 80s Toyotas are...

Just finished another baseboard heat fin clean.
One more section in the living room and add a 2 foot section on the other wall and I’m done.
Only thing that sucks is I have to move EVERYTHING in that room to access what I have to do.

 

Good afternoon stockers. Not much to report here, just doing the weekly mowing today along with some overdue spring cleaning to get ready for small projects around the house in the coming weeks.

 

First day off in quite some time. Gave the GB a full detail inside & out, including fresh coat of wax. Lost so many branches from a tree, I have no shade. Did the Tacoma shuffle in the driveway so I had at least one shady side/end.

Tundra is next.

Hands down one of the best kept double cabs in the northeast....

 

There's rust showing around the rear rockers/body from the salt catchers. Other than that, it's in amazing shape for 13 Maine winters and never being treated. Can't complain, it's been off road a lot.

 

Anyone know the TPMS part # for my 2011 TRD OR? I'm getting varying #s. I've got the FJ trail team wheels, but they used the original sensors from the original TRD OR wheels. 20 vs 40 degree??

I'm going to replace all 4 when I get new tires soon. Batteries are bad in 2.

 

My understanding is 40° sensor on steel wheels and 20° on alloys
