Ha! Just got finished washing my fun off. (Driveway still looks like hell) My neighbor commented on how much fun we must've had...I told him he had no idea!

    Seriously!

Tigerton is really a special place. I can't believe how badly I want to go back already.

Yeah, closing out my dad’s safe deposit box. I might spend the afternoon and night up in Jerome, AZ, very cool place.

Hey, so I’m about to order skids. Are RCI aluminum ones a good option?

I'll be up around Jerome this weekend. Camping tomorrow night at Mingus Mountain. Doing Smiley Rock Trail Saturday which ends in Jerome. Then beers and food at Haunted Hamburger. Will be camping Saturday night in that area as well.

I’ll be there tomorrow, will you be around? We could have a beer! I can’t off-road, the rental car places get persnickety…

    looking at the map…
Damn, that’s right there, a rental might even make it down that 2-track!

I think steel is better if you plan on using them a lot. But, aluminum is a great option for just in case, or if you just don't want to worry about touching them up as much.

It sounds like steel slides over rocks a little better than aluminum, while aluminum will let the rock dig in.

Will be leaving Phoenix and heading north around 4-5pm. Probably to camp around 7. Didn't plan on going into Jerome Friday night. No solid camp spot untill I get there but it'll be around here https://goo.gl/maps/2HN3K4YKmzxfKqjp7

    So. Many. Stickers.
Get steel if you're gonna use them. Also, touching up skids is overrated. They're thick bois and will last a long time.

Just cover them in mud. Then Woolwax or your muck of choice. Smash and repeat.

That's a great picture! I was wondering what you were doing over there. I'll have to strike a pose over there next time.

I'm definitely thinking Coastal if I go full bumper. The SOS low profile bumper is holding up well enough, so far.

It's funny because I've been in Merrill twice in the last 3 weeks. It's appealing, but those bumper kits are very reasonably priced directly from Coastal.
