    Gas prices suck.
    Great exercise.
    Exciting hobby.

I'd like a bike under $1000. Looking for full suspension for trail riding.
Will use mostly for commuting to school and work.
I am going to throw on road tires since I heard theres a night and day difference.

I've been interested in the 2011 Diamondback Sortie 1.
With my work discount I can get for $890 out the door. 55% off retail.

Opinions on this bike? What other things should I know, or where should I look?

Also I'm 6' tall, what size bike should I be riding.

Craigslist should have a bunch, especially in So Cal. I got my Kona Kula from Craigslist for $500. It's a great bike for me.

id swoop that up quick, but im still saving. I'd love a specialized, there Customer service the best and their bikes are amazing. ill look into that one thanks!

    will keep looking on craigslist.

    wow those are very nice
if i buy a NEW bike is will only be a DB, because I get them for half retail. If i were to buy any $900 bike it'd just be a $900 bike. But if I spent $900 on a DB it'd be a $1800 bike, so that's why I'd have to stick with them.
