Clearing out Dropbox scans. I miss this thing sometimes. I never modified it beyond tires and the shell. Racked more miles than any of my other trucks, coast to coast.
8ft bed in a reasonably sized truck was a nice thing.

My friend ran into my double cab at walking speed earlier. He intended to leave his Scion tC in gear but it wasn't or popped out and rolled. It hit the bottom of my rear bumper and dented his hood, no damage but paint removal on my bumper.

I intend on swapping out the bumper anyway with my NWTI kit, if I ever get to strengthening the rear of my frame. Just glad it didn't touch the actual bed I just had repaired in 2021. He feels awful and I guess I would too.

No wonder I'm so violently uncomfortable all the time. And no surprise Arkansas and West Virginia are tied for the lowest. These typically equate to places people actually want to live though. Most often maps like this are just really fancy population maps.

 

Genuinely surprised it isn't much higher in AK and HI

 

AK really shouldn't even be as high as it is IMHO. But really what is Mass doing better than CA and NY to be so pricy

Define comfortable... I can tell you that Idaho's number isn't enough to afford a home.

 

Comfortable is actually defined at the bottom of the chart. And obviously these are median values. Boise is literally the highest value to population in the state, which is kind of sad but I guess it makes sense for Idaho it's kind of the best thing you guys have.

It's always crazy here regarding these reports. A high amount of delta farm land in the eastern and south east part of the state skews averages.

The pine bluff one is actually the one that's interesting. There can be expensive houses anywhere but there's always a rock bottom too and The Rock bottom is so much higher in other states than in Arkansas apparently. There's nothing less than $100,000 in Washington unless it's a quarter acre with nothing on it that you're not legally allowed to build on or something because of an easement

 

A three hour drive to the north and west to the mountains changes everything. I would actually like to have this little cabin in the Ozarks -- Newton County. That county is now wired for fiber optic cable. Tech people who can work from home are flocking in from the coasts.
