I just had a off road shop install bilstein 5100 and lifted my 2022 SR5 to the top ring on the front and 1” ready lift rear block. Now I have the check vehicle stability control system light, pre-collision warning light and my cruise control won’t work. Anyone experience this before and know how to fix it? Thanks in advance!!!

You need a Zero Point Calibration. See this thread, but you'll need to find someone with TechStream to do it:

Toyota changed the OBD pinouts for 2019+.

See my Feelers thread for folks how could help.

OR you could start with a simpler solution. Put some washers on the lower screw where the sensor mounts in the grille in order to adjust the aim back lower to where it was. And if it doesn't work play with the amount of washers. If you can't solve it that way, then get it recalibrated.

So the issue was the vehicle needed a zero point calibration. The off road shop never knew this and was trying to pull diagnostic codes after they performed the work. I went to my Toyota dealership and asked if they can do the calibration and they said no since I modified the vehicle they won’t be liable (I had a few choice words for them that I won’t post here). When I left there I called the next nearest Toyota dealership which is 3 hours away and the service tech consulted their master tech and they said they’d perform the calibration no problem…. After that I stopped at nearby OK tire to make one try before driving 3 hrs, the tech there was able to perform a zero point calibration, only hiccup was he wasn’t able to do it for a 2022, but input my truck as a 2021. $54.99 and 10 mins later my truck is fixed and no lights and everything is working

I have a 2020 Sport, I have one inch lift in tires and planning to raise it one inch more with a lift. Will that throw off my calibration?

    Just finished lifting my 2022 SR5 6”.
Pre-Collision warning is on, of course.
My hope is the alignment shop can fix it, but if not I’ll go to auto glass and see if they can, they fixed it last time when I replaced my windshield.
    Hope this helps.

That is odd, I lifted my 2022 OR with Bilstein 6112 and rear 5160's and Icon RTX leaf pack and I didn't have one issue.

Maybe I need to try cruise control to make sure.

It happened instantly. now, the steering wheel is cocked 30 degrees.
my hope is it goes away after the alignment, or I either adjust the TSS or complete the zero calibration test…

this very well could be the source of the problem. An alignment is a good idea either way, and next step.

    The alignment and reset worked
Though I am scared to turn pre-collision back on…
    Cruise also worked flawlessly.
    Thanks for everyone’s help!
