What are you streaming on Amazon, Netflix, etc?

Bridgerton.....actually it's my wife watching. I'm hiding upstairs because I refuse to sit and watch that crap. Just don't get it....doing other stuff with my time like registering my new gun.
Putting my socks away, etc.

 

Stagecoach (1939). Max. John Ford’s first talkie western. This film is considered John Wayne’s breakout role as a sought-after actor. Good action film with few dull moments.

 

The Breakfast Club, Netflix. Never gets old.

La Grande Illusion (1937). OK website, A French WWI film favored by film historians. I really got into it following the prison escape.

The Dead Don't Die (2019). Max. A bit silly but I enjoyed something a bit different.

 

NEVER

 

The Maltese Falcon (1941). Tubi. Highly regarded but winner of no Oscars. I concur as I was not overly impressed.

 

Mayor of Kingstown season 3 is out.

 

Bringing Up Baby (1938). Tubi. A silly comedy with Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn, who’s character I found very annoying.

 

My girlfriend told me it's good. Then she started explaining the premise and plot, and she sounded like she was tripping on shrooms, so my attention drifted, unfortunately.

 

There’s really not much to watch these days. It’s got Jeremy Renner in it but nothing spectacular. Just something to watch. Watched Shogun earlier this year and that was good but not much else

 

Outer Range is the tits. It's Yellowstone with paranormal activity and Josh Brolin, while also somehow giving a more realistic depiction of a modern upper western.

 

BRATS - Hulu - If you're Gen X and grew up in the 80's you'll understand. And fell just that little bit older....I mean wiser.

 

well tonight at home I'm going to be watching Bridgeton. Because my wife wants to.

 

Gone With the Wind (1939). Max. A well scripted film making the four hours flow by quietly.

Seen all three of James Dean’s films. Worth a rewatch in the future. Right now catching up on classics I have not watched. But yes, all three of his films were great. Tragic that such a gifted actor passed away so young.

 

Remembering Gene Wilder, Netflix. What can I say, It's about Gene Wilder, really can't go wrong. He actually narrates quite a bit of it which is interesting.

 

I agree with this statement. Hasn't been any great shows for awhile now.
