Hawaiian shirt day! Years ago, boss-mang would grant 59 minutes of Admin leave on Friday if you wore a shirt. It stuck. Current boss-mang doesn't understand about "Admin leave" :annoyed:

I haven’t been skiing in over 30 years. Wifey doesn’t so when I said “I do” that was it. Used to go on 2 trips per year: Vermont for a week (usually SugarBush) and out west for a week (Aspen, Sun Valley, Whistler, etc). Then throw in multiple ski days and weekends which usually gave me about 60 ski days a year. I don’t know if I’d be able to afford a lift ticket anyway. I hear a 200.00 ticket isn’t out of the question not to mention I’d miss not having an actual ticket and bail on the coat. I guess you now need a phone and scan your ticket to get into the lift line. Lots of good memories skiing with the club.

Depends on where you go. Vail, Big Sky, Aspen yeah over $200 a day. For Whitefish (old Big Mountain) I think we're at $90. Season pass is $720 so still cheaper than the big resorts. Haven't had to use a phone anywhere yet. RFID cards you shove in a pocket near the height of the scanners and a lot of places still use the barcode and laser scan. Can always hike and ski free out of bounds. I did that every month for 3 years until I got sick of EVERY tourist at Logan Pass asking me if I was training and the same ranger EVERY month saying you can't ski the snowfield only the pass. Kept saying yep Harry you said that last month and the month before. I can't imagine life without skiing. Its what keeps me going during the dark times. When my depression was really bad the first time, I made myself go ski and it helped get me out of my head for awhile.
Have you looked into any mens groups where you're at? My therapist years ago ran a men's group one night a week. Men only. Place to talk openly and get support.
Stop drinking or using drugs if you use them to escape. Just going to make it worse. Save them for when you're in a good mood and you know it will help keep you in a good mood and not bring you down. Yep speaking from experience! Finally gave them up for good.
Humor! I used to love watching cartoons because they would make me laugh no matter how dark of a mood I was in.
Get outside in the sun! Take someone sailing that has never been and revel in teaching them a new skill and enjoyment they get.
    Keep talking to us!!!

Nope not me, someone stole my handle! LOL

Rudyard Kipling popularized Cold Iron a long time ago in a different way than I however:

Gold is for the mistress - silver for the maid" -
Copper for the craftsman cunning at his trade! "
" Good! " said the Baron, sitting in his hall,
But Iron - Cold Iron - is master of them all."

So he made rebellion 'gainst the King his liege,
Camped before his citadel and summoned it to siege.
" Nay! " said the cannoneer on the castle wall,
" But Iron - Cold Iron - shall be master of you all! "

Seeing how it was Kipling I can give him a pass :)

A little of this and a little of that.
Good evening everyone - it only got to 94 degrees here today. Got quite a bit done, despite the heat. Wife suggested cold supper, salads and tomato sandwiches, and I am good with that.

    Enjoy your evening.

    Saving this picture-thanks Mike.

Ha! If Narnia has an airport, then I’ll probably get there one day. o_O

Are you referring to the same Andy that I know?! j/k and I'm pulling hard for you rocketman! You got this.

11 years ago took a picture of my house flag

About a month ago the plastic bracket broke when the wind stressed the flag. It was made in USA but was getting old. So ordered a replacement, yes I fell for the commercials my flags have to come from the USA

Perfect timing I just finished putting it up. And even better than the last one from Fleet Farm plus the bracket is metal on the Allegiance flag.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
For six to seven days in late July, then it comes back with a vengeance!

We got almost an inch during a hard, 15-20 minute storm this afternoon. Given the forecast for hot and dry during the next week, the rain is a welcome addition to our well.

We had some weird rain yesterday, blew through quick. Rain drops were round like 1/2” marbles, unfrozen hail?

Good to know! Well you mentioned firearms.... So if you are into building them? WG is the place for you. We specialize in building weapons of all types. From black powder to modern machine guns & silencers.

We just had a crazy weather event. Sirens went off, severe weather warning came on the phones... Dogs went crazy. It came backwards from our regular weather drift. Pink/green/orange sky, massive lightning strikes & thunder torrential rain & 20 mins later it was gone & sun is setting.

    Scared bullydogs attached.

Been to all of those places. Red Rocks is a little too rough for the camper unless it’s been fresh graded. But I’ve been back their a lot with both Baby Toy and Runner.
gave up on you and hitched a ride with some other guy
