Hello- I was curious if anyone else is experiencing this. I have a 2023 Limited. I notice when I go over a pretty good sized speed bump at a decent clip, I get a beep from the truck. Not sure why? Sounds a lot like the lane departure beep.

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
I would think VSC or traction control something like that? what happens if you don’t go at such a “clip”? And or can you disable those systems and try it? You probably are losing traction for a split second if you think about it..

It's your truck saying "Ouch" because you are going over the bump too fast!

Do you have a dash cam, like a Garmin mini2? mine will beep under hard braking, and big bumps. Ski

As Ski said, if you have a dash cam it could be triggering the g-sensor. Often you can adjust the g-sensor sensitivity in the dash cam software.

If you don't have a dash cam, pull the ABS fuse then experiment with going over the same bumps and see if the beep is still there. If it's gone, then it's from the stability control system.

It turns out, it was the dashcam. I have the Toyota integrated dash cam. When I was going over the speedbump, it was triggering the G-sensor to kick off a recording of what they call an Event file that gets recorded in addition to the normal recordings it does. For the fun of it, I went out and hit that same speed bump and sure enough, the Action button (event) flashed three times along with that beep. upload_2024-6-14_17-50-33.png
