For some reason I always end up bringing some Woodford Reserve while camping.

Was given this to take home after a wedding. No problem. I don’t know if it’s still the reining champ of the twist offs. It’s still a great pour in my opinion. Cheers

    It's damn sure up there.

Being frequently found under $20 for a 750mL, it's perpetually in the conversation for best bang for your buck out there. OGD Bonded and WT101 are the other contenders I would argue.

From what I know, this bottle is the King juice that wasn’t picked. It’s awesome!!! More oak than sweet, peppery, nice finish with some brown sugar that lingers. For me this is a serious home run BiB.

Cracked this guy open last night. Was drinking way above 90 proof for some reason. Nose was lovely put the palate was a touch of sweetness and a lot of ethanol. Hopefully will mellow out! I have really liked these in the past.

I cracked one of these a couple months ago and thought it was awful. Tasted almost bitter. Sold it. Such is single barrel life but I’d expect much better from BT/Saz

Question for those here who have sold or flipped bottles before.
I’ve traded bottles before but have never sold one.
I have a chance to get an Eagle Double Rare at retail. I’ve seen them ranging from $7500 to $20000 on the secondary market.
Would I be foolish not to try and flip it? I’d be happy with $5000.
    Thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Old Elk wheated bourbon and 8 year wheated were delicious. Wife had a blackberry mixed drink of some sort that she enjoyed. Atmosphere was great, a nice afternoon on their patio. People watching and enjoying the summer was in full effect.

The current going rate is ~$6k.

If you’ve got no selling history, you’ll have a hard time moving the bottle. Many B/S/T groups require invites and vouches; and if you’re selling, buyers want references, past history of selling big bottles, etc.
A lot of people will also be a little alarmed that the first bottle you’re moving is a Double Eagle

Unicorn Auctions might be the better move.

I think they’ll require an in person drop off of the bottle though
