Took the Tacoma on a two week trek to California and back. I sure did miss these two lunkers. Peanut and Crackerjack. They missed their tummy pets too. Oh, and I was very happy to get back to my wife too.

 

We get it back x10 when the little ones really begin to develop their social skills and get through some tough kitten illness. I’m not going to sugar coat it, it sucks when they die. That’s the part of fostering no one talks about. Please promote spay and neuter in you local communities and donate what you can to you local shelters.
Not ending on a downer, Elsa is a tiny love bug along with her sister and they are doing very well.

 

Jethrine, a short term foster is ready for adoption and will be spayed tomorrow and be available the next day.

Had to say goodbye to my old friend last Friday. She’d been diagnosed with a possible brain tumor about 6 weeks ago. I did all I could for her until Friday she took a turn for the worse and I had to put her first as much as I’d miss her. She adopted me 12 years ago when somebody dropped her at my neighbors she was already 10 years old. She lived in my garage with her bed on top of a 68 Camaro. She was my friend we liked to swing every evening for at least an hour weather permitting.

 

So sorry to hear that Chris. They grow on you, even if only for a couple of years. I'm sure she loved you very much.

Be strong, my friend. You'll always have her memory. They can't take that away from you.
