These are relatively new. Definitely would like to hear some reviews myself. This would be my choice if I were upgrading suspension.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Unfortunately due to various circumstances I still haven't gotten my rears put on but hopefully in the next week or two I will have them on and be able to put them through their paces

All right, I finally got them installed! Preliminary results are in! So far the mt64s are indeed an upgrade from 5160s. They are fantastic on-road and on my railroad tracks that I benchmark suspension changes on they were slightly better on the downhill jump (all four off the ground and then on the ground at roughly the same time) and a fair bit better when going uphill (nose pops up, compresses, rear pops up and compresses, kind of a teeter totter action.) Also, having slightly better shocks combined with the most recent iteration of Perry Parts 3D printed bump stops means that the bottom outs while definitely noticeable were not painfully so in the way that stock was. Obviously there are still A LOT of conditions (like washboard, potholes, hard on the gas on various surfaces, etc) that I still am going to put them through but things are looking good so far.

Care to share pics for attention? Both for the attention bump and research purposes about a 2.8 diameter shock.

Replying to say thanks and request a front end shot too. The perry parts bump stops are interesting. Looking forward to their V2s with a u bolt flip kit. Happy with my timbren rears and just ordered sumo fronts to replace the harsh timbren fronts. I've done a lot of FDM printing and recognize the potential for perry to engineer something special especially if they're made in America.

Front end I'm still rocking 6112s but when they wear out I'll definitely be getting mt64s in the front as well

Thinking of picking up the MT64's... Any updated feedback from anyone running these? They seem like a great fit for my driving style and plans. Thinking of pairing with Icon UCA and either a Deaver Expedition Stage II or III rear leaf pack. Also planning to do the CMC and ECGS bushing replacement with some front fender liner trimming to accommodate -25 mm offset wheels.

I'm beating the snot out of the rears and they have done quite well. I won't hesitate to buy the fronts when my 6112s wear out.

Are you running stock suspension components other than the MT64s and bumpstops?

Not sure exactly, but I have my side steps, a fiberglass topper, bed mat, and bed stiffeners so I'm thinking 250lbs? Maybe 300?

Ok sweet that’s pretty much what I got on my 2nd gen. How do you find them on the street? Are they quite stiff? I’ve been trying to find some info on the MT64 and there’s nothing out there right now.

They are outstanding on the street. That was the first thing I noticed about them.

Had the 6112/5160 setup ordered and now the 6112’s are back ordered. I have the opportunity to change the order for what’s in stock and the MT64’s are what I think I’m going with. I’ll be running the same leaf pack setup as you as well with the archive u bolt flip and bump stop. Was curious what lift setting you run these at? I’m going with the 2” but was curious if it’s a true 2”. Thanks!

I'm running them at the stage one or whatever it's called the way that they ship to you. Unfortunately I never did a before and after measurement but after being lifted about 2 in in front to make the truck level once I installed the icon leaf springs at stage 1 it gave me back my factory rake

Ya I’m shooting for 2” front and rear from stock height to maintain rake. Do they use a different coil setup for 2-3” lift option compared to the 0-2” lift option. Like what makes it different. Seems like just the block for the rear.

I know nothing about the front as I am running Bilstein 6112s in the front but I think @memario1214 could shed some light on that for you
