morning boys. Rained a little last night. Weird how soothing the pitter patter on the camper roof can be.
Woke up to blue but got some clouds moving in now. Might have to put fishing plans on hold

I was just thinking about Rick last night. Didn't realize the significance of the guitar.

    Vssman,
Hang in there and take it day by day and minute by minute if that’s what it takes. Keep talking to people about it. Exercise, keeping busy, maintaining my relationships doing things to help other people have been key to me staying positive, healthy and sober. (Dogs help too.) IMG_4740.jpg

Send your crew my way. The backyard needs a makeover and there's dead grass that needs gone and a few small palms and an oak need some attention out front

Just need that to hold off another 24 hours or so. At least until I get back home.

I used to have the best looking front yard. Dark green lawn, 2 inches tall and not a weed in sight. Sprinkler system kept it watered and I would feed it to keep it healthy.

Then my wife hired a gardener that cut it to half an inch, because " that's what you are supposed to do", it looked horrible and weeds started popping up. He blamed it on low quality grass.

When the last drought hit, the City told us to stop watering the lawn, then I had construction. Had to remove a huge ash tree because the root system was damaging the water and gas lines.

Now I have dirt, dead weeds and rocks.

Been hating the front yard, but have been given the go ahead to hire a landscaper.

    Should be cheap...lol

My front yard started out nice and manicured. Then the wind moved weeds from across the street and sand into the decorative rock. I turned a cement mixer into a trommel to separate the rock from the sand and we got even more wind...after 11 years I threw up my hands. Well now there’s houses across the street and a big brick wall so now I can get back to it. But it's far enough that I'm going to have to hire a crew to get it back in shape so I can maintain it.
