Definitely! I never thought I'd like a park so much. They really did a good job with this place.

Just east of Tigerton, WI. Over 500 acres of trees, rocks, dirt, and mud, with a beautiful stream running through the campgrounds and along the trails.

The people that run the park are really cool and those that show up are even better!

Some would say it's a great spot to sit and enjoy an Old Fashioned at the end of the day!

They're very popular in Wisconsin. But, they're typically made a little different here.

Traditional is just booze (usually whiskey), bitters, sugar, and water.

But, in Wisconsin, we muddle an orange wedge, cherry, sugar, and bitters, add ice, Brandy, and top off with 7up for sweet, or Squirt for sour. Other sodas work, too.

There are a few different theories behind why they're made that way here. But, it seems like it started during prohibition, and the muddled fruit and soda were used to cover up the taste of poor quality booze.

If you ever join us on a trip, I'll make you one. Or, if you ever go to a Wisconsin supper club, they should know how to make a good one.

That's why the mixed drink, in general, was created.
    What are you covering up?
    Korbel.....J. Bavet?

I don't know if I agree. There's plenty of booze that tastes good on its own. A traditional old fashioned doesn't really cover up the taste of the whiskey.

On my family's spring fishing trips, it was always J. Bavet. I started using Korbel when we started doing old fashioneds on these trips. So, that's usually all I buy now.

I have 4x Innovations sliders and skids and an RCI gas tank skid. The RCI doesn't hold a candle to 4x stuff. Only reason I have the RCI, is 4x was out-of-stock on tank skids and I needed one for an upcoming trip to Moab. Right now ( I was under there for 1 1/2 hrs. this morning getting last weekends "fun" powerwashed )the tank skid is smashed against the tank. You have to look hard at the belly skids to see any dings. I strongly recommend the 4X.
