Nothing like wires interferes the fuse box from closing/sealing properly?

No sir! The two ends get slid on tightly around the prongs of the relays, the relays get reinstalled, and the wire just takes a path in between relays. The lid goes on and you'd never know there was a modification.

Thank you! Fair question- I suppose the photo is slightly deceiving. My driveway is on a little bit of an incline and where I park the truck on the ramps helps offset it. Not perfectly, but it’s better than I guess it looks in the picture. I get pretty close to 6qts out, so there’s very little old oil left in the pan.

That’s so cool! I used to go to my daughter’s favorite swimming hole when she was young and let her cruise around in my jeep back in the day. Great memories. The smile on their face is priceless. Gorgeous truck btw

I had the front bumper refinished along with the hood, also I had the rear bumper bar replaced. Im pretty proud of my 2008 Taco, she looks like a brand new truck.

    Installed
    upload_2024-6-15_17-47-21.jpgupload_2024-6-15_17-47-54.jpgUsed lots of that
upload_2024-6-15_17-48-26.jpgupload_2024-6-15_17-48-44.jpgupload_2024-6-15_17-48-57.jpgupload_2024-6-15_17-49-28.jpgOh. And I cut the middle cab bumper in half and applied the pieces to both sides of the rear slider area
upload_2024-6-15_17-50-41.jpgIt’s definitely not a plug and play install. The rail kit it came with was a contraption with clamps and lots of tweaking to get it right. Nothing like any of the install videos out there. Was able to put the sliding cleats in but unfortunately they aren’t sliders anymore and that’s where they live now. Had to red neck some shit and re fasten some stuff but it’s on there. I wasn’t giving up without a fight and it took me way longer than I expected but cooler heads prevailed and I got it there. I didn’t drill any holes for the drain hoses yet so I’ll get to that eventually. Definitely not the install I expected.

Love that white. Before I fell in love with my greenie I was looking for a white taco and the dealer laughed and said they get sold as soon as they hit the lot

I think what's messing you up is the bed rail drop brackets - they should lower that OEM rail a bunch. I installed mine last fall and it was super straightforward, but my bed rails are a lot lower than yours. Can still use the rail for sliding the sliders. Not my pic, but like this:

I believe these come with a rail relocation kit that lowers them so they work with the tonneau.
