I'm still the odd-man out, I got Hankook Dynapro A/T extremes for the Taco last fall. They did great in the snow and rain and are reasonably quiet on the road.

 

Speaking of tires I was at WV Fish & Game headquarters yesterday. All their trucks have GY Duratracs on them. A couple of the employees were standing near the trucks so I asked how they liked those tires. They told me they loved'em, better traction over the BFG's they use to run. I told'em I have the same tires on my trucks. My wife's 4runner has the Cooper Discovery A/T's, those tires have done well here on the mountain. Like my Duratracs they also perform well in the gravel, mud & snow.

 

Afternoon all… wifey and I went out on the lake for about 8 hours today. Caught 2 fish, both around the 2lb mark. Did miss a porker though… rod bent over, set the hook. Started reeling and realized the drag was way too light! Went to adjust and I gave her too much slack in the line. Fish jumped about 2’ out of the water and I watched my lure go sailing!! Looked like a 4 pounder all day, maybe more…

 

Now that’s a valid point for a heavy lugged tire. You use it for its intention… not just to look cool.

 

Right of passage? Happening today. I'm grilling for the first time ever.

 

By “odd man out” I think you meant the responsible and realistic one lol

 

I loved my DuraTracs I had on my 3/4 ton Chevy. They were great in any condition I ever threw at it… and I beat the hell out of that truck!

Was able to increase my lift height some and noticed the lower bushing isn’t all the way in the top hat and couldn’t get it seated correctly. I’ll have to take it apart and try again. Can’t tell if I have to replace the top hat or not.

I had the top bushing and washer off in this pic. I had to take the tension off the spring and had to remove them and put the nut back on so the shaft wouldn’t go to far down. My coils don’t have pressure, so the shaft can slide down and be a pain to get back through.

Well, it’s official… the 4th Gen market place is up and has its 1st post.

 

What’s for sale? A truck or a truck part?

 

Speaking of which, if anyone wants to buy my used LT265/75/16 General Grabber ATX tires let me know.

I’m too busy at the moment to up them up for sale in the marketplace and deal with people from outside of MD but I can make time to get them to any of you local peeps if anyone is interested. I switched over to Maxxis mud tires so I no longer need the Grabbers.

 

A lift spacer… for a whopping $400

 

Oh my gooddd lol. I think I paid $70 for my Rough Country ones when I got them new from RC hahah. Now I have the bilsteins of course.
