They're great for clean up, but this thicker stuff needs to be scraped first. 3M adhesive remover works a treat.

Edit: I stand corrected, I haven't had a powerful drill before. The Milwaukee hammer drill I recently picked up chews through this stuff easily!

 

Assuming you are using a heat gun? In days of old we used a heat gun and plastic spreader to get that shit off.

 

Even just a hair dryer will soften the glue.

 

They make plenty of goo gone sprays and fluids and stuff that work wonders

But, a rubber eraser wheel on a high speed drill is the best. Blasts through everything, though a bit messy.

 

All this time spent in the mud and sand has the d.s. leaf pack creaking like an old man's knees.

 

Jack up the frame, let the suspension hang, and hose that biznitch out.

Then fluid film it

 

At work, for double sided tape, carpet tape and spray adhesive residue mineral spirits loosens it up and it's mild enough to not worry about damaging paint and most plastics.....though it may swell some types of rubber.

Those are definitely cool. I just can't see myself spending more on a Corolla than I did on the 4Runner.

I've been wanting to get something fun and nimble in a few years. The Nissan Z is top of the list. But, the GR86 is also very appealing to me. It just needs more power. But, they make turbo kits every day.

A $45K, 300 HP Corolla does not sound like a good idea for a new driver to me.

Seriously though, I do want to get that car road worthy and insured again. I miss driving fast.
