I'm leaving the axle 8 lug so the Chevy/Wagoneer style ones you have probably won't work for me

 

What time are you thinking about going and would you mind if I tag along? I'm off on Wednesday too and need to get up in the mountains.

 

Man, I was getting off 470 onto 70W heading up there with my girls for our annual father's day camping trip. I won't disclose the spot because it fills up on Thursdays already for the weekend, but we usually hit vicksburg / Winfield, paddle board CC reservoir, and hit BV for a nice four day weekend. Luckily the fire has stayed "small" so far and hasn't crossed the ridgeline to where we usually go. The spot has some sentimental value as we've been going there since the youngest was still in diapers and an infant car seat.

Was still able to pull off a good father's day trip down to sand dunes and creede.

Don’t have that detailed of plans yet, but doubt I’ll get out super early. Might head that way around 10 AM. I’m about an hour from the trailhead. If others plan on going, we can coordinate arrival.

Heading back to Leadville/Turquoise Lake This coming week for my and my wifes 5 year wedding Anniversary (Got married at Turquoise Lake in 2019). Should be a fun 10 days!
