I bought an Isuzu Trooper years ago that had a weird rolling sound then a "click!" whenever you stopped. The sound came from the dashboard/drivers seat area. After a couple months and the third time I pulled everything apart, I found a marble that would roll up and down the seat track that would make the click when it returned to sit against the seat frame.

 

It was only after 1967 that we could get yellow margarine in wrapped quarters. White margarine came in one pound blocks with a capsule of yellow dye. Folding that dye into the margarine was brutal. It never blended smoothly.

 

Why does margarine need to be yellow?

 

So it looks like butter, who wants white grease on toast

 

So it doesn't look like lard.

 

We had odd neighbors that used green food colouring instead.

I remember as a kid always needing C and D batteries for toys. As I got older, always needing AA and AAA batteries for portable cassette and CD players. Now on rare occasion I need AAA batteries or a disc battery for a remote control.

Remember paper boys, I had a paper route. You had to be at least 12 years old, so you could ride in the streets

I had a route for a while. Roll it up with a rubber band and fire it off your bike in the general direction of the front door.

 

Made me think about trying to find those 6v batteries for the light.
