I have a set of worn out lowers sitting at my parents from Jason @Bruce988jl . I run factory eccentrics and total choas cam tab gussets without issues. Could also do the line of weld on the tab as an even cheaper option

Already ordered the cam tabs and hardware. I made the mistake of throwing out factory hardware when it was rusted on to the lca. This solves that with grade 8 hardware

I mean you could do anti-seeze or wheel bearing grease to keep it from seezing. Up to you though, not sure what hardware goes for these days since I did mine in 2019

I was thinking I was gonna go skinny 33s but they’re like 60 lbs a piece. That’s like 33% more weight than what I have now. Anyone have some insight on what to expect if I did?

Another option in my mind is to go with toyo a/t III’s which are about 40 lbs a piece but in the 265/75R16 size. Just not sure if the juice is worth the squeeze for 3/4” or so

What tire are you looking at that's 60# for a 33? My 35s are 66/67, that's an absurd weight lol. I ran skinny falken MTs before and those were 55# I believe, they worked really well and didn't hit the mpg's terribly. But if you're not really wheeling stuff where those incremental gains make a difference I wouldn't

lol when you do your lower bushings I may need help with mine, I haven’t gotten around to it yet.
I run skinny AT3Ws and I think they are 56# a piece. Honestly they run great, no overall complaints. You do lose a little bit of MPG, but not as much as I expected which is good.

I think my general grabber at in 33x12.5x17 were 60ish pounds each

So yes, 60#'s a piece will most certainly be a possible issue for you if not regeared. Mine are 285's and my toyo AT3'S (which I highly recommend btw) are only 55lbs a tire. One of the o lyrics reasons why I tried the toyos over the falkens (which are still a great tire) but the falkens are much heavier for the same size tire. Also keep in mind that you will need to balance the weight vs the load rating as well with what you plan on doing with the tires. A SL load rating are going to be lighter and more comfortable but not as rated for heavy trails. E rated are stiffer and heavier but can take a lot of trail damage. C rated is a great sweet spot.

I noticed the skinny tires seem to be comparable in weight, if not ever so slightly more than the wider counterparts in the same size a lot of the time. Rolling resistance plays a little bit in it as well but I don't think I'd run a skinny again. Toyos are on the lighter end of the spectrum I think, falken and the grabber are definitely on the heavier side

Wildpeak AT4Ws, apparently. Seems crazy to me lol. But I liked that they're ATs, which should help a bit with noise

The biggest issue I found is physics of diameter. Rotational forces are A LOT bigger of a player than tire weight. Going from the general grabbers to my Mastercraft mxt's those were only a 1lb difference but the rotational force difference from 33s to 35s is what gets you
