Looks are deceiving. Rotted out and was the reason for its demise. I started replacing rockers and it was just too far gone. Drivers side went into the torque box so total loss. Also rear sub frame was almost rotted through as well. Speedo stopped working around 237,000 miles and the suspension told a story of it probably had 300,000 miles

Just the FWD ESi. Those screaming 120 horsepower was backed up by no catalytic converter, free flow header, and a fart can. It was ridiculous.

Also had a stage 2 clutch in it, for yanno, all that horsepower

Me and my brother finally started to dig into the 400ex tearing down the old one to get ready to switch everything over to the new frame. We spent about 4 hrs on it. Time Flys especially when bolts are seized and snapping off.

Wife n I just got back from a nice 2 mile walk out at Mingo Park in Washington County. Nice place to walk, lots of shade , then if it gets to hot jump in the 2 inch high creek .

 

Lol it was in the shade for about 2 hours than the last 2hrs was full blown sun. Got hot quick. But we got everything we needed removed from the bent frame. But my brother was going to his wife's family house for a BBQ. I don't really care for her family so I just went home to relax.

 

I have my grandson's go kart for sale if anybody in western PA knows somebody who is interested. I had a few of my daughter's friends come look, but they don't have any money.

 

Too bad it's on the wrong side of the state. It would get plenty of use at my brothers house.

Do any of you know if it's possible to register a trailer with only a bill of sale & serial number? Google wasn't very helpful. Looking at a trailer on FB (hell of a deal) but the guy doesn't have a title. Gonna go see the notary later today but figured somebody here might know.

 

Got to have a title in PA. Not sure if it's done anymore, but Maine trailer registrations were a big thing to solve this issue.

 

Wouldn't surprise me if they closed that loophole like Vermont did for the motorcycles...

 

Only thing you can do is if the owner of it now is the legit owner and had it registered in PA they can request a duplicate title. However, this will probably affect its cheap price.

 

Said he's had it for 15 years and never registered it. Might just need to pass on this one pretty unfortunate. Picked up a snowmobile from my wife's uncle yesterday and was hoping to find a quick/easy/cheap trailer for it.

 

What about those stories I hear of people building there own trailers ? How do they register them ? Or title them ?

 

As far as I know, you cannot build your own trailer in PA and register it.
