At some point I thought about using a truck winch to try to bend it back. But frame should also be secured to avoid dragging the truck.

Unless i yank the thing like you are suggesting and pray nothing breaks

Yank and pray. That's my nightly routine, at least.

Yes that's what the rack at collision shops does. There are clamps holding the frame to the rack, while winches and/or hydraulic jacks do the pulling.

I just want to share my experience with my latest repairs.
I recently acquired some parts from @Norilsk, upgraded spindle and hiem for tie rods.
Just before this, I did a 1600km trip up and around the Elliot lake area with no troubles.
When I went to swap these parts onto my truck as soon as I tightened axle shaft nut the wheel bearing would stop moving, so I replaced the wheel bearing.
then put it all together and went to work the next day.
got to work the same r/f wheel was hot compared to the other wheels
took everything apart to see what was the matter and found as soon as i tightened the caliper onto the spindle the wheel would stop moving again. I took everything appart and cleaned all mating surfaces but still same thing.
I was just removing the caliper with pads left in them all the time.
I decided to put everything back togeather less pads to see what would happen and sure enough all was well
I decided to check all pistons in the caliper seperatly and found the inner lower piston was seized.
Replaced the caliper and its all good now. truck even drives better ( might be in my head) IDK.

so whats the reason I'm telling this. For thoes who do their own brake jobs check your caliper pistons seperatly to make sure one is not siezed. I'm almost sure this has been the cause of my truck pulling to the right oh so slightly and I chalked it up to my home alignment. now no more pulling.
    thanks for listenig.

Trying to set up my air b&b.
any suggestions from others who have similar air b&b’s on how thin I can make the platform? Going to carpet it. 2 pieces length wise or three going horizontally ? I want it removable. Foam topper or air mattress. Thanks. I don’t really want to be sleeping like a sardine .

@Saturnine sleeps in the bed of his truck with a soft topper, but unsure of what type of platform/mattress he uses.

I personally just threw down a air mattress in the bed.

I have both a cot and a full bed air mattress. Both go just above the wheel well

    ummm .....ya.
    Dilemma.
No VIN on my truck yet...supposed to be here between July 5th and the 15th...meaning it should be built any day...but nothing yet.
Dealer has the exact same truck but in Underground. Not sold yet...mine if I want it.
I really want the Solar Octane but I'm stuck on the fear it won't be built.
Bird in hand is better than 2 in the bush?

Hold out for yours is my vote. A few more weeks waiting vs years looking over the hood of a boring colour you didn’t want…. Or wrap it orange?

2 hands in the bush? Is that euphemism for something in the '70s?

Underground is supposed to be the new cool gray-ish color after the cement and lunar rock fads passed?
