I answered my own question with a quick search of your thread. Looks like +10mm. Any advise on the 20 or 30mm offset though?

+30 mm offset on a 8" wide wheel is approx 5.75 backspacing. That's more backspacing than stock, so your tires might rub on the UCA.

Stick to 5.5" backspacing if you don't want your tires to stick out ppast the fenders.

    I'm glad you asked Boyd.

For a 3" lift, I would recommend 42" Super Swampers.

The dark reddish/orange color you saw when changing your oil is because you accidentally drained your maple syrup pan instead of the oil pan.

Do not fear though. Head to the nearest grocery store to restock...make sure you don't buy the Canadian maple syrup though, it doesn't mix well with the Tacoma.

I like that too. And when you stand back from the lights a bit, the chrome led part looks the same as the reflective bowl in the turn signals and reverse lights....

I'm thinking about getting the BBS RW's. Could a 275 or 285 fit on a stock suspension? Still a 32" tire.

You might be able to fit 285/60/18's.

I'm planning on upgrading to that size once these wear out.....I'm prepared to run wheels spacers if necessary though.

What size tires and what offset wheel is that? Also, how much were the 5100's and did you consider a strut spacer for the lift? What are the pro's/cons of a strut spacer lift? And what is a vinyl application to the bumper? If it's the front, it looks good. But how? Sorry for the incomplete sentences...I have the same truck, only it's different:)
    Thanks

Tires are 265/70-17 [up from 265/65-17 stock]

    Wheels are MotoMetal 951s
    - 17x9 on 5.5 bolt pattern
    - backspace 4.53 in
    - offset -12mm

I had the front 5100s and AAL installed for $475 including a diff drop and alignment [kept the rear trd shocks]. I could have gone with the spacer lift but advice through this forum (including KPT) was to go with the 5100s. At the same shop, the strut spacer kit would have been the same (if not a bit more $).

At the shop I had my tint done, I had them put semi-gloss black vinyl on the lower bumper - below the front plate and lower grill. Applies like tint with a mild adhesive. The installer took his time and used steam and a heat gun to ensure a great fit. I'm quite pleased and it only cost me $30.

Holy crap thanks for bumping this, I forgot about it.

In a few weeks I'll have one of HomerTaco's pre-made satoshi's. Should I paint it white or leave it black?

I suppose I could start out with it black and then paint if I decide otherwise. I have a few cans of super white in my garage...
