Now I can’t unsee it

 

Mya, best little dog in the world. I swear she could read my mind. She was up for everything and every adventure. We miss her greatly.

 

Squirrel watch. They been wreaking havoc on the suet feeders lately. Mom doesn’t like the door open cuz bugs but dad left it open for an hr or so for them to git ta gittin when they see one. Problem though. Not a twitchy tail in sight the whole time. They know when the door is open to stay clear

 

You’d think he did something other than play to wear himself out.

 

3 years ago yesterday we gave this guy his family, and his forever home. He has been my constant companion, adventure buddy, protector of the family, and comedic releif. Taking him camping this weekend to celebrate, and having him memorialized as a tattoo next weekend. I've had dogs my whole life, and am in the pet industry and have never met his equal. Happy gotcha day Roy!

 

Beautiful boy. I feel the same about our rescue, Beauregard..I have never had a more lovable, smart or just overall perfect dog in my 63 years.. they should all outlive us..

Juno let me make her a crockpot rabbit meal for Father’s Day; she’s so thoughtful. I even got to pay for it, cook it, and clean up afterwards. She was in total bliss. Cooked on low for ten hours overnight. Just a few herbs and veggies, zero salt. Would be bad for her kidneys.

Ca-dog very rare breed. Love playing fetch and high prey drive.

 

Ruby has had a hell of a last month- Hits her first heat cycle a month ago and has to wear a diaper for 2-1/2 weeks
Then she has her first birthday May 21 (she’s learning to point)
Then we took her to get spayed on Friday.

The getting spayed part is going to be rough, she’s so freaking energetic, plays fetch for at least a half hour every day, pretty much have to keep her doped up, not fun.

Trazodone is a wonderful thing. When I had Kimo neutered, the only thing that helped keep him quiet while he healed.

 

She’s on 100mg Trazadone every 8 hours, still bouncing off the walls- I could up it by 50mg and give her the Gabapentin every 8 hours instead of 12, but we’re on day 3, I’m gonna run out lol

Doesn’t help her older brother keeps riling her upHe’s not as mellow as he appears
