Since you added to it, yes people do call them a 12 inch JBL, because the woofer in the cabinet is 12 inches.

Just a note: A Bose Wave draws 120 watts. That is more than the standard 110V inverter will supply while driving. ;-)

Its hooked to a 12 volt amp inside the truck. Using my DSP I can lower the volume of all my interior speakers and then set the mono amp thats normally for my subwoofer to play full range to the PA speaker.

Ill be doing the test run with the 15s tonight. Might have to drive it up to the church parking lot to make sure I got good clarity and distance.

Body Armor Stealth Front Bumper. Extended Brake Lines. Greddy Shift Knob. More to come of course.
Agreed! Though I had to purchase longer charging cords and rearrange the accessories a bit.

Grew a set yesterday and drilled out a hole for the Spod plug. managed to use the access hole for the 3TPAM internal bracketry. With the grommet removed, I still have space to access the bracketry to tighten it properly during installation. Touched up the hole with Rustoleum Vending Machine Black and a fine tipped modeling brush. ( A great color I found that matches matte black powder coat during my Subaru days...)
Now to install and hook up the Spod. Yee

I wish Baja Designs would get back to me with where they source the braided material for their control cable. Its really robust and looks really nice. I'd like to use it on all my lighting wiring.

    Hey @grambo911,

With the braided material for the sPOD control cables, they are braided by a machine from our vendor. If you are trying to find something that is nice to work with I would recommend checking out

In your opinion, would getting the speaker upgrades + amplifier on stock HU be worth it? I don't have the JBL option, just normal stock HU + speakers. I was thinking about getting that Kicker kit on Trail Grid Pro's website + an amplifier to help out the HU power. I'm not looking for a subwoofer, but definitely an upgrade on sound overall.

Shouldn’t the IPA go down the throat of the repairer?
Use all the isopropyl alcohol you want on the wheel but the IPA will make the repair more fun.

The ride is great. I was concerned that they would be on the stiffer side but that’s not the case. I went with them over OME springs because the shop that did the install says the Ironman’s aren’t squeaky and I haven’t heard anything from them.
