I have a hockey buddy that donated a kidney last week. ( Those that went to Ark know the story ) He received an email about a study that will pay for participation. If you are interested, give them a call.:D Easy mod money.

The UW-Madison Department of Urology is working with Gregor Diagnostics, a local Madison startup, to develop at-home prostate cancer tests. The study is seeking volunteers who are male, ages 50 and older who do not have prostate cancer to test the usability and stabilization methods of Gregor’s at-home semen collection kits.

Gregor is building a better way to non-invasively diagnose, monitor, and precisely treat prostate cancer. This advancement in the prostate cancer journey avoids invasive blood tests, imaging like MRIs and prostate biopsies, which can be painful and expensive. It might not be able to help you directly but it can help your brother, son, or friend avoid unnecessary invasive biopsies and treatments.

In this study, you are only testing the kit usability. The company will ship a collection kit to your home, you will collect a semen sample, and then mail it back to their labs, similar to other at home tests. You will complete a survey and talk to the company directly on your feedback on how they can make the kit better. You will be paid for your participation of $100 for every sample you give. Most men will send in at least 3 samples during the study.

    Participation involves:
    • Following directions to complete three at-home semen collection kits
    • Completing user experience surveys
    • Mailing the kits and surveys back to Gregor Diagnostics
If you are interested, contact the UW-Madison study coordinator at 608-890-1216 or jabbour@urology.wisc.edu. If you know someone who may be interested in participating, share this info with them!

You are receiving this email because you are an employee at UW-Madison. Your email address was obtained from UW-Madison Office of Human Resources.

Keep that up and you'll get yourself into positions that you'll have to use 4WD.

Maybe, just maybe Tim could make up some Tigerton stickers for the crew.

    Just an idea.

Stopped in the office at Tigerton on our way out and I picked up a hoodie and a hat and a couple stickers from their new merch collection. The hoodie and the hat are great, but the stickers are quite small and I'm not really sure what they were going for. I'll try to remember to grab a pic of one tomorrow and post it. Tim could do much better I'm sure.
