    We went to the Saint Anthony's Day procession and banquet thingy in New Castle, that was fun! I also introduced my Little (BBBS) to geocaching and we had a ball doing that. Finished mowing the yeard (ran out of battery Saturday lol) and did some homework catch-up. Now I have a butt-ton of homework to do this week. Huzzah!

    I went ahead and bought me an actual respirator for painting the last things too! I should have had one instead of the m5 masks but they worked good enough for sanding.

    We are grand-puppy sitting for our eldest daughter. Her and our son-in-law got a couple of concerts to go to: tonight & tomorrow.

    Wife asked me yesterday on our way to meeting point for grand-pup pickup: "Do you think our parents would have done this for us?"

    Loaded question for sure...I just looked at her and said, "No way!"

    So, both daughters will be here on Saturday/Sunday to hang out with their old man. lol

    Hopefully, your tires arrive and install goes well.

    Welp, grand-puppy sitting is going well and daughter + SIL enjoyed the "Delta Sleep" concert last night...they met the lead singer and took a photo!

    Their second concert is tonight...not sure who they are seeing.

    I completed my cleaning chores yesterday...dusting furniture and cleaning the wood floors; should be a mellow evening tonight--getting take-out!

    Haircut tomorrow morning and then we are set for a nice Saturday.

    Got my haircut this morning...helped newly assigned barber (my hair will grow back!) who is gaining experience/confidence with every cut.

    My yard looks like it's dying in certain areas...maybe the weed/feed was a bad batch this year?

    Or maybe because I haven't been watering it on the daily. lol

    Anyhow, mowing/trimming always makes the yard pop so that's what I'll do for the next couple of hours...before it gets too hot!

    I have to dethatch my yard at some point, aerate, and spread some fescue seed. My former roommate's dogs ran laps around the house, so I have a different kind of Monster Mile mud track in my yard...

    She's still learning...lol.

    The young lady (15) is covering for my primary barber who had a baby a couple weeks ago; she gave her some tips before her departure.

    I'll have to get my next cut from the more expensive veteran barber on my list...I get skin/medium fade, hard part & goatee trim.

    Man! You really know how to describe a scene!

    You got me laughing about a "Monster Mile".
