Love the truck. What winch mount do you have? I’m looking to get one and want the hidden mount. Also, what winch do you run?

 

Thanks man! It’s a Torq Engineering hidden winch mount. I’m running a Smittybilt X2O GEN2 10K Waterproof Wireless Winch with Synthetic Rope.

I’ve loved the stock+ look that the hidden winch mount provides. And obviously having the functionality of the winch is incredible too.

That’s the exact look I’m going for. I don’t want to cut the bumper and not be able to go back to stock later if I want, that center piece for these seem pretty common to find to replace from others removing it. Thanks for the response I’ll be looking at that winch mount!

 

The endless prairies of western Nebraska

 

I assume that’s the Nebraska Sand Hills? Never been there, but always wanted to see what nothingness was like. Is there a lot of public land you can camp on?

Probably the far western edge of the Sand Hills, where it starts transitioning to high desert. In the Chadron area where I was there's two state parks, a national grassland, a national forest (strange as that seems in Nebraska) and yeah probably plenty of BLM or other type areas.

FWIW: Caribou, ME broke it's all time high temperature record today: 96 degrees. Caribou is the furthest Northeastern city in the United States. Fort Kent, Maine also hit 96 degrees today. Not sure if that was a record, but look up those two towns on a map and you'll get the idea: Northern Canadian Border
