Midweek holidays are kinda rare huh? My job in Idaho didn't recognize the holiday but my new one does which is a pleasant little treat.

Just kinda kills the day. I have zero complaints about 4 10s though, 6-4

Yeah I didn't even really think my previous one was that long in the moment, but still felt it was taking up too much time when I added up all the trips.

    hardy har har lol

4.56s with 35s are pretty nice, if you have a manual trans you'll be very overgeared with 4.88s and 33s but probably fine with a bit of a hit to MPG if you have 35s

I'm pretty over working 5-10s. Been on this grind for 6months with no light at the end of the tunnel....blah
My first job I commuted 40 miles one way. Then my next commute was 13 miles one way. Now, it's a 5 minute walk. Next step is remote work haha but I will say, I really really like not starting each day having to drive to work.

The 25-30min drive was something I got used to, until I rented out the house and got the apartment which was only 5mins from work

The worst part? I still woke up early and got to work really early cause the whole "good work ethic" was always instilled in me...

    Ew civil?
Funny how those habits don't change even if your commute does. I'm still late to work every day.

I had an employee that was the same way

Whether he stayed at his girlfriend's house or his own (one spot was significantly closer), he was consistently late

I remember giving him the whole "wake up 10mins early, wipe your ass 10 mins earlier, brush your teeth etc"

Basically moving his whole routine 10 mins earlier and he'd show up on time

He was a good dude though so I always let it fly
