You and @JoeySauce should hang out.

I don’t know what their delivery schedule is for allocated but we had our big monthly dump the day before Father’s Day. Michter’s BS rye, Blood Oath, Willett, the typical Buffalo Trace trio. There’s some Taylor small batch in the state warehouse and a couple other interesting things. Your best bet is to either call ahead and chat with a clerk or go into one of the stores on the morning of day 1 and see what they’ll tell you. They’re usually pretty willing to share delivery dates, drop schedule, etc. but none of them know in advance what they’re getting, they never know till delivery day. Unfortunately every county does things differently.

Would you look at that. An Evan Williams with a cork! Neck pour is decent, we’ll see if it opens up. Cheers.

Here’s what’s in the warehouse right now that could potentially drop when you’re there:

    Little Book Ch 8
    Old Fitz 10
    EHTSB
Maybe some trailing Blood Oath 10 or Michter’s Barrel Strength Rye
    Whistlepig 10/15 state barrel selects
Lux Row Four Grain Double Barrel
    Larceny Barrel Proof
    Elijah Craig Barrel Proof
    1792 Full Proof
Henry McKenna SiB 10 — seen this everywhere lately
    Michter’s 10Y Rye
    High West Rendezvous Rye
    Willett 4Y Rye

Also @JoeySauce, way more stuff than I saw a couple weeks ago.

I picked up two of these bottles from a local guy that doesn’t like them. Man oh man, for the $$, really good. This is the future of bourbon in the upcoming economic disaster, value for $$

Looks like you're on the east coast of Fl. I don’t know any spots on the west coast to drive on the beach.

Picked up a couple of previously cracked bottles from a friend today who didn’t care for the flavor profiles….and spotted the Green River wheated on sale for $30.

Outer banks NC, I’m about .5 miles shy of the VA boarder. There is 9 miles of beach with no roads the higher you go the less people, it’s awesome. We do this every June and do Ocracoke every October, similar situation.

Was just in the OBX last week, Corolla specifically, and they didn’t have anything special. But I only went to one store for a mixer cuz I brought some good bottles to sip.

The Spanish were biting good from the surf if you’re into fishing.

The only time I’ve popped into an OBX liquor store was in Kitty Hawk, and it had the worst whiskey selection I’ve ever seen. Miles upon miles of bottom shelf stuff. I wonder if that’s what the demand is, so that’s all they stock.
