I like it. I am getting used to smaller cabins. It's been nice have a truck bed though. I am leaving it stock for awhile. I admit, I like being spoiled with a modern vehicle with carplay, BSM, adaptive cruise, etc. I drive a lot for work so i really appreciate the fuel mileage. I am averaging 22mpg with some conservative highway driving so i don't want to ruin that currently.

I’ll be getting my ARE topper painted in a couple months and was planning on doing the matching Silver Sky Metallic, but have had some thoughts about doing black lately. Any thoughts?

I like two tone on silver sky, my first cap i got used was mgm really liked it. I picked up a new cap and got it color matched. Black, mgm or color match should look great

The second truck with the black mid-rise is exactly what made me ponder going that direction, but the first one you posted looks great as well and really makes me think I should match. What’s your lift and tire setup in that first pic? I really dig it.

The 2nd picture is mgm magnetic gray metallic, but black or like a textured raptor liner would look great. Bilstein shocks all around 1.1'' lift in the front and 2-2.5'' in the rear with icon stage 2 pack. Factory leaf packs suck had me sagging with just the topper when i was all stock suspension. I am swapping to stage 1 its a little high for my liking, its about a 2-2.5'' rake in the rear with my topper and normal carry gear hoping to drop it 1''. First picture is 235/85/16 and 2nd is 265/75/16, i have a 4 banger the truck likes the 235 more same height but thinner

The MGM makes total sense because it doesn’t look as out of place as a straight up black topper would. It looks really great. You don’t still have it do you? I wound up with a cab-height topper because it was a screaming deal but I’d really prefer the mid-rise like your MGM. With that said, the paint matched looks fantastic and I think it’ll look great with my truck once I eventually do it. I’m also in a SX Access cab (but with a 2WD V6 powertrain) and legitimately think that they’re some of the best looking trucks even bone-stock.

I personally really like the rake and want that look for my own truck, especially because I do notice some sag from my stock suspension with the topper on and some weight in the bed. I’ll probably start figuring out suspension in the next few months, but I’ve got a faux TRD skid and some Rockblokz mudflaps on their way.

I just bought some 265/75/16 Wildpeaks in January and I really like them, but I definitely feel a bit slower than with the stock 245/55/16’s and especially since adding the topper. How do you like the pizza cutters from a performance perspective?

Shocks wont add any lift in the rear, to lift the rear you need a block, add a leaf which are just bandaids for the real issue. The factory leaf packs are garbage unless you ride around with an empty bed at all times. They just cant handle any weight, I attached a picture when i was stock suspension just had picked up the topper bed was empty. 2-300lbs lost the 1.25'' factory rake and was slightly sagging, a joke even for a "light duty truck". Check out icon leaf packs, you can set them up stage 1,2 or 3 depending how much lift/weight you want to hold.

I wound up selling it liked the two tone and the midrise but really wanted a power rear locking window. I always found myself fumbling trying to unlock/lock the rear window with my hands full. That is why i picked up a new cap and tried cab height this go around, i like the tires i have a 4wd 4 banger so power is limited. Hard cornering you can feel the difference but mpg and a little power is up over my previous 265/75/16 the thinner tire a trade off.

16’s they come in bronze too but that’s a little flashy for me if I get sick of the black a nice dark gray metallic would look great
