My wife and I were considering a Grand Highlander. Turns out the sales guy is an enthusiast as well and it was really interesting to hear that his dealer, a rather large one, is actually turning down allotments as they are not selling. The new Tacoma that is. They actually offered me $39k for my 2023 with 16k miles, Trail Edition. Turns out retail for my truck is still $43k, even though I purchased it for $45k. Crazy. If you guys are looking for a deal there are plenty of unsold trucks in the southeast. We decided to keep the truck, Grand Highlander was nice, but not that nice. Also interest rates suck, no special financing on the Grand model.

Maybe they should stop adding $5000-$8000 in port and dealer adds. Gulf States and SouthEast are the worst.

This might be a sign of what is to come with lower pricing as dealers are struggling to sell at inflated prices.

Had to scroll through the link. Wonder what the story is on that 24 off road (used) 1,037 miles for $46,991 looks to be a long bed too.

Advertised prices are not what they are going for, definitely room for negotiation.

Exactly, I’ve seen so much of this on new AND used trucks. Thankfully, the dealer i bought from was straight up, no add on’s to make up for a lower selling price.
