That's right I think I remember you saying you did that, I got a bunch of equipment from when Aqua Lung moved from their place on Melrose and some of it is testing equip and random parts from full face gear, you probably know what it is better than I do, I never used underwater comms.

IMG_3970.jpg Well today I am playing with a 3rd gen rear main seal leak, holy crap I didn't realize the amount of stuff that needed to come off to get the trans/transfer case removed from the engine, had to pull the entire front 2/3rds of the exhaust system including the exhaust manifolds, starter (to access the torque converter bolts) and everything else connected to the trans..

Wow!!! Nice catch!! I’m jealous, that’s my favorite food on the planet and you have a good supply, I’d be eating sushi for a year.
And yeah we all had a blast out there, we will do it again once it cools down..

Recently went down to the docks by Seaport Village on a Saturday morning. Got 4lbs. of Albacore for $20. Gave 2lbs. to a buddy.
Cut it up into small steaks, soaked it in milk....wife wipped up a concoction to marinate it in (drained the milk of course) and had it
on the bbq that night. Turned out great!

Ok I am officially changing the thread name to "Tuna Talk"!
But really. that is a badass catch, last 2 times I went out on a sport boat I got Skunked for a total of about $500 for a deep sea boatride with a line tangling competition.

Sounds like open party boat . . . If you took a multi-day trip south, you would likely get a different result. Though the difference is also $$$$.

Unfortunately, my ocean fishing days are over.

tell me more, me and the gf unit have talked more than once about finding some decent spots to pick up fresh fish from. we both work alot, therefore our habits are a little crappy and we wanna improve our diets.

i commonly work saturdays starting at 1030, how early is this place you mentioned open?

Opens at 9:00am I believe. North end of Seaport Village before Midway Museum. There are a couple of busy parking lots just before you enter Seaport Village itself. Bring a cooler to transport
the fish you might purchase-they had ice available. Nice people, your lady friend could feel comfortable going there on her own or calling you when she's there. A variety of fish in available, some sells out quick like the Halibut ($20 a pound?) It looks like if there is an abundance of one type or more of fish the price is cheaper?

I'd be more than happy to make a nice donation for the trouble. :spending::headbang:
I can't seem to catch any myself lately, and they aren't close enough to the shore for SCUBA while shore diving unfortunately, haha!
