What I tried once was putting some of that essential scented oil sprinkled on the cabin air filter. Never again, the scent was so strong I couldn’t hardly breath in the truck. Dang, made my eyes water. Had to toss the filter and get another one. Don’t do any fresheners now, I keep the inside of my truck spotless and that’s enough.

Plus you if get a bad survey from the customer and knocks your CSI down. I lived that for 16 years.

Up until now it’s been 70’s max but when I park outside I’m sure the temps hit 100°in the truck.

Same . Never bought one in my 30+ years of driving so this was my first tussle with an air freshener. Probably why I never knew this was a thing .

That's just crazy. It would be good to let the shop know. If was my shop I'd want to know about this. IMO, you'd be doing them a huge favor.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
This thread is hilarious and also raises some questions... those who are farting so much or so potently that they smell it even a day later... how? Can anyone learn this skill, are you on tour with your talents and can you deploy them at will? Only thing my truck even smells like is old truck and sometimes dusty camping gear... and I've been known to load up a seat cushion or two on occasion.

Without an air freshener, my truck would smell like White Castle the day after I take a sack home.

I like my sliders, but not if I can't eat them. And if my truck smells like Whites, and I don't have one to eat, it's a disappointment.

Farts usually come the day after the White Castle....

One of my friends has really bad cholesterol because of a genetic defect and his wife will not let him eat fast food or bring it home, so he will just go to town in his truck and throw out the evidence before he gets home. He does use air fresheners, but it just smells like tropical mango AND tacoburger asshole.
