when my old ebay BHLMs fogged up I removed all the bulbs and placed them in the oven with the bulb holes up on a towel. Set it on the absolutely lowest setting and left the door open just a bit. Went and watched a movie. If you have a lot of moisture the waster will collect in the bottom at first and you can roll the head light around and pour out the bigger drops. I then resealed mine with RTV silicone and they never had a problem again.

All done! moisture is gone and I hope it doesnt return. I think I must have gotten some moisture in there when doing the HID's...

I would seal the lights with silicone to be sure it doesn't happen again.

i have some in my fogs right now from an off roading trip. i'm going to get one of those moisture remover from home depot and use tape and what not to attach it only to the fogs where the bulb goes in and see if that works. if it does i'll take some pictures and show you guys how to do it. i've never done this before but in my head it makes sense enough that it should work.

I forgot to put my daytime running lights back in, and went somewhere. And geuss what! more moisture! Fudge!!!!

So back to square one and me drying out my lights....

Well hopefully now no more headaches with this. But I do have alot of water spots on the inside from the moisture. :(
    Oh Well.....

Damn it! its not working! im still getting fogging inside my lights.... :( how though when I dryed it and then put my lights back in and my rubber boots are back on as well. I did have to cut the rubber sealer a little to make it fit over the HID bulb....

I dont understand how im getting the moisture in there!!!!!

Could it be the rubber boot isnt sealing over the bulb correctly, and letting in moisture?
I think Im ganna try getting new boots and trying it again... :(

I know for a fact its not that... there the OEM ones. I never touched the seal. It started right after I did the HID's..

Anyone know if the rubber boot on the back has to be tight around the bulb, to create a air tight seal?

Well... my situation is much worse then I thaught... I ended up taking my headlight off, and turning them upside down, ad sure enough theres a tone of water in there.... :(

So I dumped most of it out of the weep hole, and now im ganna leave them inside all night and see If there is any water in there in the morning. If so I will use a blow drier to dry the rest... Man what a PITA!

there finally dry. I siliconed the top of the headlight, just as re-ensureance.

But when i got up this morning there was barely any in there, so i put them over the heat regesters and now the water is gone...

    re-installing soon...:)
