Shop around. I think we paid close to $3k for sod removal, addition of rocks, sod, and install. We’ve also used this guy in the past over the last six years so he’s always fair on pricing

Oh we have, average is over $3k easily but yes it does include removal of anything required, as well as the labor for install (and a specific sized piece) with the cost only going up based on additional square footage

Thinking the concrete will add another $2-3k as well

We lucked out on widening the driveway when we first moved in 2 years ago. Every quote was between $3-4k and we ended up paying $1,900. Using that same guy for concrete again.

as i tell my neighbor, if he's unhappy with my front landscaping, he is more than welcome to re-do it to however he desires, just don't expect me to pay for it.

Well today I put in an L shaped dock today. I managed to run through 5 m12 batteries I haven’t done that in a long time. (2) 2Ah (1) 3Ah (1)4Ah (1)6Ah. Put in a lot of fasteners and brackets.

On another note, used my new trimmer the other day in the backyard and that fucker rips

Decided to use it in the front for edging after mowing in the morning

Need a small hedge trimmer for the big ass lavender bush we've got but don't think it'd be worth getting the attachment for a single bush

A badass mower with awesome battery life, tons of power, and great cutting :luvya:

Had it for a few years (bought it when our house was built) and it was before Milwaukee ever came out with their own mower; even if it was out I wouldn't have dropped $1k for the price they command

I know four people who are very happy with the ego mowers for personal use, two of those people have and love their dumb lifted diesel rolling coal never offroaded show trucks.

i've got the milwaukee mower. very mixed feelings.

it's really pushing the 18v battery tech to it's absolute limits on every use. it really needs a higher voltage/capacity cell design, like the e-go mower to work appropriately. after use, it's apparent that even makita's method of using four 18v batteries is really a design limitations more than it is a benefit.

i do like that i can use the same batteries for anything and everything, instead of having some expensive batteries that can only be used for lawn mowing though.

after the experience, i'm much less interested in an m18 snow blower. i don't think it'll handle the more serious 1ft+ snow i get. of course last year, i got about 2" total.

When I first saw the EGO, I thought holy shit that's a big ass battery pack

But based on the way the cells are set up, you've got both a higher voltage as well as a large capacity

I could charge it once, and use it in the spring and summer months without ever charging it all year

Pair that with it's discharge rate, it's perfect as it fucking rips

I thought it was cool to see Milwaukee come out with their mower a year or so after I got my EGO, especially since it uses batteries I already own, but there are tons of complaints about its build quality

The handle/assembly rattles itself apart, with the achilles heel being the plastic motor housing

Did they change the design? Did they make it a bolt-together setup that's easy to replace? Did they switch to metal?

I'm a huge Milwaukee fan, but seeing all the issues stem from owners makes me glad I went with the EGO

Plus it was a good $600+ cheaper

56V, 5.0ah EGO which is technically the smaller battery they offer

I have the Ryobi mower. Does pretty well. I want the Milwaukee just so I can have all Milwaukee yard tools lol. That’s some serious coin though.
We can get 1” - numerous feet of snow up here so I’m not sure I would get rid of my corded SnowJoe as it does ok for what is is and price friendly

i bought one as soon as it got released. so revision 1? my issues aren't anything like that.

the blade speed seems to be somewhat low, so i have clumping issues inside the deck during the wetter months.
and the height adjuster sticks off the side, so it grabs my chain link fence and drops all the way down. not fun.

i'm really more irritated by getting the weed whacker as soon as it was released-- i wish i'd gotten the quik lok version so i could have the edger and sweeper attachment.

The weed whacker is the bees knees, but unfortunately don't find myself ever using any attachments for it.

I'm thinking of grabbing that small hedge trimmer (the tool not the attachment) when a good deal comes up.

See that looks like a better option too in terms of design compared to the Milwaukee

Reminds me a lot of the EGO in certain ways

Probably use the same supplier for some items
