A little something every chance we get.
Thanks Murray! That's a great show! I opted out of the COTA show Sunday. It's already hot, my friend wasn't going, and Father's Day seemed reasonable. It's also the only one that costs me $12.50!

This is an all welcome show. Free, vendors selling food, beer, raffle tickets. There were cars from Vagas, Iowa, Canada, local. I usually support the VFW $4 pounders, taco in a bag.

If I'm sweating when I get to the mailbox around 10am, it's too hot. Back to the house, hole up for the duration, shred the junk mail.

@ndoldman59 TY for all the car pics. They made my morning.

Good morning. Temps will continue to rise here in the DC area. Going out to a Tim McGraw concert tonight. It will be a late night for me.

A bit of a reprieve in temps today at only 87 and cloudy. Then at least 10 days in the 90s and into the 100s! Didn’t hit 100 all last summer. Finally got some rain yesterday. Close to 1/2” and badly needed! Nice!
Annual Dr appointment this morning, then hope to get some lilac trimming in. My UT is getting pretty full so I need to haul it off to the limb recycling center to make mulch.
If it’s not too hot and I can get in contact with the dairyman, I need to get a load of composted manure for my better half’s roses. May be too late by the time I’m ready.
I love all the car show pics! My first car was a a 1955 Belair two door coupe. White and baby blue. Had to sell it in college to pay tuition. It would be a fine antique today! “Hindsight is always 20-20!”

Everyone make the most of your day! It doesn’t get any easier!

Thanks, our town has a monthly show during the summer. It's a huge draw. Food, booze and cars some motorcycles. I was trying to be more selective. Most of the the stuff is nice. But the crowds are huge. 4.5 blocks including parking lots. With a 1 direction cruse down the middle.

Man, I'll tell you what. There's nothing like farm pond bass!! :)

This one was hiding under the raft that's about 15' from the shore.

The kicker is the trusty Zebco 33 worked really well!

Stay cool everyone. I usually fish between 3 and 4 hours. This AM was only 1.5 hours...it's brutal.20240621_081413.jpg 20240621_081500.jpg

A little something every chance we get.
:pccoffee: Good morning Porch Pals & Sue! Well, I think we're mostly done with Alberto. Got home from errands yesterday, and it got real cloudy and dark, so, the dog and I decided to chair this one out. Nothing happened. Oh well. Then, 4:30, big wind gust knocked over 6 pots at once, and while I was cleaning it up, the downpour started. Two bursts totalling 0.75", and no need for yard watering this week. We might get some late afternoon action, but I should be done mowing and with the work I put off by then!

Thanks for the additional pics Murray!
