    None as of yet.
I just purchased a 2023 Sport and I am looking at the TRD Pro exhaust but I am curious if the juice is worth the squeeze?

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
I might get a TRD exhaust for a more refined sound. I don't expect it to increase any power

It actually came on there when I got it. I didn't like it either but I never got around to talking it off and now I don't really mind it.

From everything I've heard the TRD or the Borla S-type sounds like what you're looking for, not really any increase volume just a better tone.

So an update on the Flowmaster FlowFX:

I've had the kit on my truck for about two weeks now and I absolutely love it, there's just a few things I'm a bit picky about with it. The volume is definitely up there but the tone is so deep and low that it's perfect. There's one point on the driver's side exit pipe that i thought the design was a bit strange but it doesn't seem to be an issue. The one thing that will make or break it is a highway drive, I'll find that out this saturday.

My one question is whoever had the FlowFX and the AWE (since long-term I'm thinking about it) how similar is the tone of the two? I totally love the deep tone of the FlowFX but something with a bit less high-rpm drone that doesn't sacrifice any of that deep tone would be perfect. From everything I've heard in videos they both sound very similar as far as construction they're both straight-through mufflers. Also now much more a fan of the dual same-side exit look with the bashguard option of the AWE over regular dual exit of the FlowFX. Just wondering whose had physical experience with both, I think Ugly_One you said you did?

    Great tone, no drone.

    Zero performance gains.

Both are definitely louder than stock, no question about it.

I got the TRD Pro exhaust used... wealthy teenager who wanted it louder, drove 4 hours to pick it up. Slept since then, so can't recall what I paid... wasn't much. Would not pay retail price for it though... but very glad I snagged one. They don't come up for sale often - at least not area codes around here. Waited a long time for it to pop up on FB market place.

Yes, it's a tick or two louder, definitely bass-ier, perfect "flavor" for us non teenagers ;) and nowhere near obnoxious. You'll see on threads here "wives don't complain" ;)

Awhile back, I bought the cheapest catback for my 2023 Tacoma. I did not like it because the drone chit was super loud with my Rough Country CAI. Ended up buying and installing Borla Catback, problem solved.

I also have Borla and love it. However, Carven sounds bad ass and if I ever change, it will be to that.

I got the borla s type. It's perfect. It doesn't drone and is only loud when you get on it

    Small uptate:
Just thought I'd make mention I've had the FlowFX on for awhile now and between that and a little throttle tweak I did with a Pedal Monster I did a highway trip last weekend and averaged 24mpg one way. That kit was definitely loud when I first put it on but now it's smooth.
