Yep, and it had an ls7 swap

 

Amazing...my 4.2L diesel is slower than slow.

 

Crotch cooler seals replaced with new oem seals

 

Replaced the headliner and visors

 

Went to the San Marino Motor Classic and took home first place in the Japanese Manufacturer class

 

Had friend 3d print me this cupholder and we had to test it out!

 

October shenanigans

Cars and coffee, valve adjustment, bumped into new land cruiser, new fan clutch, rebuilding carb (again)

 

Im happy to say that it is running better than ever after battling it out with the carb!

 

We added another cruiser to the fam!

OP was a while ago, but I think I rember seeing this. If this was in Long Beach I was definitely drooling over this beauty.

Took the 40 down to Oceanside from LA, and hit PCH up on the way home. Snapped a pic next to the LC250 before heading out!

 

God, this makes me want to cry. Of all the vehicles I have owned since I was 20 (and I'm 71 now), I miss my FJ40 the most. I bought a 1976 model brand new and used it for what it was made for (see my avatar).

When I go to my local Toyota dealer for parts (I still own Toyotas) there is a restored FJ45 in the showroom that the dealership owner brought from Argentina and fixed up. It's the pickup version of the FJ40 and I want it so bad I can't stand it every time I see it. It isn't for sale though and I couldn't afford it anyway if it was. I don't care for the big-ass tires, though.
