Installed the AJT Designs over sized cup holder. No more water bottles rolling around in the floor. :thumbsup:20240622_130036.jpg

    Enough for now
Envious of how clean your interior is, the cup holder mod is crucial for nalgenes/hydroflasks:benchpress:

The ghost of basic maintenance past visited me today for my prior sins. When I did my first oil change the torque wrench I had only went down to 50 ft-lb, so the filter housing was ooga dooga'd. Luckily, I knew it was coming and had the last 5000 miles to prepare for this day. All is correctly snugged up now.

It wasn't even a frustrating experience, I think knowing it was coming was the worst part and ripping out the plastic housing built my confidence a little bit. I feel the same way with off-roading because I've never been stuck. I almost want to get stuck because I think the fear of getting stuck is worse than having to get unstuck.

The aftermath of the filter housing:

    The replacement:
    20240622_095018.jpg

Also, kudos to the folks who keep their vehicle detailed. Mine gets used to cart around kids, camping, road trips, and offroading. Got bad enough that I felt the need to do what I consider a thorough wipe down. Can confirm, I hate detailing and the carpet is still filled with brambles, thorns, prickles, and other various debris.

I somehow got moisture permanently stuck in my gauge cluster for going on 2 years now. Do you have the part # or link? Is it the whole cluster or just the plastic piece?

Did some major improvements recently! Powerbrakes BBK, Pioneer 6600NEX, More budget sound deadening for the rear, expensive stickers for the bed. Oh and what I thought was a botched transfer case fluid refill turned out to be a leaking transfer case seal at 63k miles! :spending:

I like that deck. Full Apple car play? How are those brakes? Always thought about putting larger breaks on it

LOVE the brakes! It is a night and day difference in stopping power. I daily my truck and I drive with just a tad more confidence knowing I am that more capable in braking when needed. Especially with at least 350lbs in extra weight over stock and 34" tires. It also has variable brake pedal feel from Powerbrake, I looked around at others like SSO and Wilwood, but the R&D Powerbrake put in really shows in their superior performance and quality of parts.

Yes the pioneer 6600 is miles better than my previous Sony HU. Bigger screen, better software, connectivity, and has both wireless carplay and android auto.

Same product, but I used a different application procedure. Aero Cosmetics. First time I used a damp mf towel to apply, then buff. Rinsing mf towel as I went. This time the vehicle surface felt a little gritty so I lightly pressure washed to remove surface dirt and big stuff. Then while surface still damp, I sprayed medium sized area with product, wiped with clean mf towel, then buffed. Again rinsing mf towel as I went. Saved a little time this way I believe. Anyway, I'm really liking this stuff. It held up pretty well between applications too.
    * pay no attention to dry ass yard. Little to no rain here in a long time plus 100F heat and this is the result.

Couple projects.............installed a Diode Dynamics 30" Hidden Light Bar and a CTH Heated Steering Wheel. Used the Guild Outfitters modular switch panel to fit the new switches. Little bit of cussing today unfortnately, but it's done.
