I let these get away from me. I’m thinking now I might just have to rip them out and start over. I might hack them off first just to see what happens give them a chance to put out.

 

good to know about the high lift blade. it's been on my list of things to try, just haven't gotten around to it.

recently i've been having issues with at least one of my 12.0's not lasting as long. i used to run it in turbo mode the entire time, but wasn't getting my small yard completed in one charge. i started running in standard mode and just going slower to make sure it cut completely. interestingly, in standard mode i can complete my entire yard on dual 6.0 batteries...

 

I too, am not a professional, but do have a lot of experience with this. If you trim your bushes, your deck will look A LOT bigger. You're welcome.

the newer gen with the quick-lock/easy-change should have enough power.

my method does at least. and no, i'm not buying saw blades for this. they're scrap off construction sites. too dull to cut lumber, but plenty sharp to cut dirt and grass.

SAME. The shoulder strap helps a ton.

 

it can't get any worse. likely a bad charger port. time for a replacement. it's also the reason i never got into the 6-port chargers. i know too many people that bought into them and at least 2-4 ports randomly stopped working.

 

That's with any battery?

I had that dreaded "flashing" issue on a non rapid charger only to realize I had to be a bit more forceful when putting in a battery

It was only the M12 slot that'd flash and not the M18 slot

I have had Milwaukee since I got a blower and weed eater. The M18 9.0 was replaced once, under warranty, and has little capacity now.
I now have 4 12.0 and like them.
2 are for the lawnmower. I am happy with it too.
I might get the chainsaw.

I bought my first house a few weeks ago and went through the whole Milwaukee vs Ego dilemma.

It seemed like a tough decision at first, but after about a week of staying up all night nerding out about it (I'm dead serious, wife thought I was insane), I ultimately decided to go with EGO everything. I got the 2135SP Mower, the 765CFM 200mph blower, and their commercial weedeater. I have been most impressed by the Weedeater, much better than any Stihl or Husqvarna I've ever used and I didn't have to buy a battery for it because it uses the same 5ah as the blower - side note. IMO the ego 5ah battery is not too heavy for handheld tools - The mower is comparable to a nice gas mower of similar quality, but quiet. The blower is insane, never seen anything like it. I mainly got it for auto detailing.

Milwaukee stuff makes sense if you have the batteries already, I didn't. But honestly, even If I did, I may have still gone with Ego. Milwaukee makes great tools but Ego only makes outdoor power equipment. Everything I bought has a 4 or 5 year warranty too, which beats Milwaukee.

I bet that blower rips though, especially with all that power. The single M18 battery powered Fuel blower is more than enough power for our needs, so I can only imagine how the EGO runs.

EGO mower user here, and definitely agree about the mower part.

 

Thank you! The blower is wicked. Can't say I would've gotten it if I didn't intend on mainly using it for drying vehicles, 200 MPH is certainly overkill for a driveway/ sidewalk lol.
