Its going to be permanent, much of the motivation being the hella e codes and dedicated projectors vs stock. Its been its own lighting rabbit hole

Open to suggestions on how to go about fabbing up a grille, probably gonna look a little mad max for awhile, lol

the goal is for a double take worthy, could have been stock, Tacoma dual round front end
    :fingerscrossed:

Just happened to have a rusted T100 fuel tank and dropped my tank to fix a fuel pump problem.

The T100 fuel tank will fit between the driveshaft and frame rail. Hammering the pinch weld on the tank flat is probably needed and one would need to raise and make a custom crossmember as the radius of the factory one interferes. Clearing the diff would be the only concern I'd have. If the front crossmember was moved forward 2" things should clear the diff fine. With crossmembers raised it'll sit above the frame rail also.

Maybe next time my bed is off I'll revisit the idea. Would be about a 6 gallon increase. Roughly 100mile increase in range.

Looks pretty close to the oem spot. Honestly forgot to look when it was in there though.

Nice work. I have about half the kit installed. I still haven’t got around to rerouting the line for the starter, seems like a pain in the ass.

Thanks! It was a huge pain, especially figuring out how I wanted to loom and secure the new cables. WoolWax all over my truck didn’t make things fun either

It was time for new front pads again. The last set I installed got me just over 50k miles. I’m happy with that.

I used 1/0 on my dual battery assembly, felt I went a bit overkill

Nice! I’m ready for my chrome grille to go on my ‘04 and I’ve been looking at this one for a couple days. How was the install?
