I've had good luck with the 3m kit, 2 part 2k auto clear in the can. the paint looks great and some fresh headlights would really make it pop

    What clear exactly?

I gotta ask cause I'm a terrible painter and spraying clear coat on painted stuff I've cut only made it worse :bananadead:

That method really works to fix headlights. But you got to be willing to put in the hard work on the sanding steps first. A good litmus test to tell if your lights are going to come clean pretty easy with not a ton of sanding is to just get them wet. Or even to WD-40 them with a cloth and if they go clear then there isn't much sanding to do but if they're still hazy you're going to have a lot of sanding to do before you clear anything

Heard of the WD40 method, never tried it

I'll try it after today's errands, but definitely not afraid of hand sanding them

Hell of a lot better than buying generic headlight housings (at over $300) :bananadead:

For the headlights, you can use one of those cerakoat kits, but it'll only buy you a year or two. I need to do headlight housings too ASAP.

It’s in a coma. Imma get around to installing the new bracket, fan, and clutch one of these days - or maybe these nights, since we’re getting a heat index of 107 this week.
