abs & traction control

    I had a fortune brake line break and I replaced it and bleed brakes...
    .. But now I have a abs and traction control light on... Have had oriellys and autozone scanners hooked up to but they show no codes and can't clear the lights... Any help would be great

    You need to have it scanned with a scanner capable of pulling ABS codes.

    Still can't believe most Auto parts stores aren't using an ABS compatible scanner.
    Imagine all the extra money they could make sell you the wrong parts.

    I did have it scaned at a bodyshop that had a scanner that's suppose do it all but all of the scanners said there were no codes found, and I'm not having any problems except the 2 lights are on... Trucks only got 38569 miles on the clock....

    Have scaned with 3 scanners and all show no codes found.... I just want the darn lights off....

    I'm still questioning the ABS codes.
    You can pull them yourself. But it really helps if you know hot to read them.
    And that can be better leaned with someone with experience showing you how to count the clinks.

    Not even Toyota can get it right in the manual. (Let's see if @Dm93 can spot the "wrong" in the FSM diagram below. :facepalm:)

    Anyways, you can give it a shot. I really think you have codes stored.
    You can have a look at the whole file below if you want to "learn" the system.
