    SO YUMMY!!!!
I've posted about them before but the Smokejumper Cafe in West Yellowstone, MT - the owners are GF and they used to have a little spot at the airport there. Airport remodeled and they decided not to lease a space in the new building as its a little out of town and the airport dictates the operating hours so they had such a hard time getting any help willing to work wonky hours (not full time) and commute out of town. Last time I was there in 2022 the owner told me that they were looking to do a food truck vs another brick and morter place. So no yummy burgers for all of 2023.
Their food truck opened last weekend and since space is limited most of the offerings are 100% GF!!! They do have regular buns/bread for the burgers and sammiches but nothing touches the fryer or grill unless its GF. Burgers, fries, fish & chips, chicken tenders are all 100% GF, no non-GF option there. Burger tasted amazing - he makes his own fresh ground patties, nothing frozen.

I will be going back for sure! And maybe trying something other than a burger. But they're pretty damn good so who knows.

That’s such a cool story! Grit at its finest!

I’m glad you got to witness the budding of a new venture. I bet it meant the world to them.

I never knew celiac disease was a thing until about 6 years ago/

I wonder what happened? None of my family or friends have it.

While there is no definitive science saying it’s genetic yet, new science pops up every day building a stronger case that direction.

It’s a strange autoimmune disease where symptoms wildly differ from person to person. My wife’s symptoms were silent until she had her thyroid removed. Almost overnight, she couldn’t stomach bread and that’s what started her journey to diagnosis. Her body went through such a change from the surgery that the celiac ‘presented’ itself suddenly.

I’m glad you’re here and if we can ever offer you support or food ideas, we are happy to!

I didn’t pick any up, just caught my eye as I’ve never seen them before.
Let us know if you guys find them and try them
I think they were the softer version.

I looked online last night and it says my local Safeway should have them. If I get off work at a decent time today I'm going to try and swing through.

Ok, so they’re the not extra crunchy but not soft ones. They taste like a normal chips ahoy, though!

Also found the snack packs of the gluten free oreos and picked up a pack for the wife’s lunches.

I could never understand why companies use wheat to thicken products when corn starch works just as well, if not better.

maybe its a stibility thing? or they just want to have a way to charge more for something "special"
I am glad I finally found it. I think I had saw an announcement last winter that they were going to be making GF soups - this was the first time seeing it on the shelves locally.
