What did you think about the 255/85 16 Cooper St Maxx? I've been looking at those as an option next time I need tires.

 One of our buddies that camped in his vehicle said if he had a rooftop tent he would most likely not remember and just walk out like he was on the ground. Thankfully I have shoe bags hung right outside so you have to sit down first to grab your shoes

Somehow I had them on 2 of my Tacomas and ended up liking the replacement tires more.

This last set would not balance and always had a vibration. Pulled to the right even after many alignments. They wore uneven and fast. I had about 25k miles on them before I replaced them but missed a tire rotation that I thought the dealer did. I also did have a bad alignment for who knows how long.
Here’s a pic from late winter before I put them back on.
The issues could all probably be on me and not the tires themselves. They were E rated and added stiffness to my truck. Didn’t have any complaints during an off roading trip, beach driving or wet/rain.

Yesterday I put on Archive Garage bump stops. Great quality. Then sprayed with some Fluid Film.

I appreciate the feedback. Maybe I should reconsider this option. The new Falken Wildpeak AT/4 might be a better option. Thanks!

You’re welcome. Some people have great experience with them. I don’t remember what my first set lasted me. With only a few option in that size you might need to.

Last thing I know, the falkens were about $50+ cheaper a tire in the 255 range if I remember right.

It is a 4WD and I do take it "off road". I have yet to put groceries in it, so it's not a grocery getter. It's never been to a mall, so it's not a mall cruiser either.

    Gotta love Meguiar’s
upload_2024-6-24_18-54-34.jpgIt’s literally like waxing the damn vehicle. I like to use my electric pressure washer w the 25* tip held back 3-4’ for rinse. Like how the car wash does kinda. A fine mist/spray that doesn’t scour the remnants of the Maguiar’s off the truck. I don’t get time to clean it as much as I want but when I do it shines up like a new penny

was the headunit a direct fit other than the harness? Thinking of doing this on my 17 TRD Sport.
