I was reading about this yesterday. Sounds like a hell of a headache for a lot of the country.

I read that company runs software on 15000 dealers man, nuts.

LAUSD the second largest school district in the country had one a few years ago. Records for 600,000 students compromised.

She has been complaining of this new system because apparently it's cumbersome to use and the old program wouldn't of been affected by this

Maybe - hard to say without knowing the ins and outs of what the previous system was, but if it connects to the internet, it’s hackable.

I've been watching the CDK attack as I work both in IT and for an automotive group, both of their Data centers are compromised so it's gonna be a fun ride for them to recover. Makes me happy we got the few dealerships we had using their systems transferred to a different DMS earlier this year but also I know they still have some of our customers data in their systems.

Idk what’s up with my 4+ then. Was setup by JD, can’t go forward in the pivots because tie rods hit the coil, hitting bind with OEM outer cv. Inch or so of wheel droop remaining before hitting the uniball cup, and the UCA gets very snug with the coil as well. These are the ultra stretched straps though. Ordered new ones and Jesse told me he’d send me offset cams to adjust the strap up 1/4”.

What is the camber at full droop measured from the rotor face with a digital angle finder?

Also, how close is the outer tie rod to bind like that?

@Supra4x4 this is mine at full droop for reference. Not sure why you’re so tight to the C/O

I’m holding all reservations until I get it properly strapped. I need to invest in an angle finder. This is just in pursuit what extra travel I could get without a CV relative to the uniballs bottoming out. Once it’s strapped for CV bind I think it’ll be fine. I don’t see a reason why my UCA would be close to the coil versus any other kit. Stock tower and all. :notsure:

I don’t know if it is the same for second gen Tacomas but I know first gens and 3g T4R you typically get less droop before bind out of a heim outer tie rod.

Yeah my OEM tie rods aren’t binding at all, they still move freely at this angle. Grabbed this pic briefly before work tonight. I just need to put new straps and cams on it and we’ll be good. Some of the angles in former pictures were making me question my own sanity. And as you can see, the UCA cup is just about bottomed out. I feel better now.

Had some secondary bypasses fall into my lap this weekend.

Is the coilover pretty much tuned wide open with a secondary shock?

Bobby from Solo recommended removing all my valving from the coilovers to make it a “coil carrier,” when I bought my shocks for the front. After talking to DC Shock Service and Kevin with Dialed they both said that’s not how they do it. I’m sure Bobby picked up the idea from somewhere and therefore at least at some point with some people that’s the way they did it, but it’s not the way some highly skilled people do it.
