Removing front bumper valance

im removing my front bumper valance tomarrow and going to move my turn signals into the corner lights. also mounting the offroad lights i have on the front cross bar. what do yall think?

 

sounds like I'll want to see before and after pics, should look good

 

i can do that

 

On each end up top is where I had issues. Stick a small spade into that clip to release it. I yanked on mine till it came out!

 

that's funny, my friend and I were thinking about this the other day...glad we won't be the ones to test it out haha

I had to pull mine off to replace it after losing a fight with a phone pole. Didn't find any clips but a buttload of little bolts and nuts. 1st gen and 2nd gen may mount differently.

 

ya i just noticed he is 2nd gen. ya 1st gens have bolts and on the very bottom there are 2 clip like things in the center

 

yeah we do too haha, but we like an example to follow most of the time

 

Mine was taken off by a guard rail a couple months back. I just ty-wraped my signals to the bottom of the metal bumper. Looks better (IMO) and now I have better approach angle clearance.

 

well i know im not the first to do this. but doing new stuff is where all the fun is

ya true but if i get in a wreck that plastic isnt going to help me at all

its a very easy task, crawl under there and un screw it. I dont think it'll make much of a difference offroad though

 

Wash your hands first and then you can has some.

 

it wont really make an offroad difference but i just dont like the look of the plastic.
