I was given 3 answers for engine oil, 5 1/2, 6, 6.2 quarts, which one is exact?

6.2 quarts with filter, but I’m guessing you’re not going to get every last drop out.

every time I put the dipstick in you cant see the level, not like the old days with different oil, might just have to wait till the 0-20 gets darker.

Wipe it real good, reinsert, and then use a blue colored shop paper towel and press it against the dipstick, that should tell you where you are.

53K on mine and I always use 6 qts. Reads just a tad high on the dipstick after an oil/filter change, but nothing concerning. If the dipstick was off an 1/8 of an inch, it would be perfect. And besides, 6 qts. is quick and easy. Who wants to figure out .2 quarts?
